Tides Remembered
Impasto using acrylic paint on 16"x20" acrylic board

This painting is a personal favorite of mine. It is Montauk beach where my family and I would go on vacation every September during my childhood. We used to stay at a family-owned motel that holds special memories for us. When I recently returned to the location, I felt inspired to paint it because the motel had been torn down, but the beach remained untouched. It's a scene that holds significant meaning for me and captures a sense of nostalgia.
